This course was designed with the number one objective of providing students with a set of practical resources, knowledge and understanding which covers a number of management disciplines. The course consists a series of multimedia modules, slides, handouts and resources which are capable of solving and analysing real problems. Where we reviewed course material and found it too theoretical it was dropped from this course.
Each topic includes information, resources, templates, videos, quizzes, interactive presentations, calculators, real life examples and diagnostics. Once the topics have been covered the program becomes a useful long term resource by providing practical ‘fill in the blank’ templates for suitable use within actual business situations.
How can the program be used?
There are four major ways the program can be used:
1. Management resource: business managers may use the program to help build and grow their business. The templates can be used as diagnostics and analytical worksheets to help improve profit, manage staff more effectively, provide improved customer service, think innovatively, become aware of risk, conduct more effective marketing activities, plan for exit and succession and much more.
2. Recommended resource for MBA, management and marketing students: this is a comprehensive set of resources. It may be used to complement most other management and marketing courses. The lesson plans, guides and slides are excellent summaries of key learning topics in each area.
3. In-house training: The program is a great tool for staff. Each of the modules can be used for separate staff training or to conduct brainstorming sessions.
4. Use as a nationally accredited training program to earn a Diploma in Management or a Certificate IV in Frontline Management. All you need to do is select the core modules required to earn your qualification, complete the assignments and submit them to a MAUS qualified assessor to be assessed.
